Lake Uihlein E-Line

Lake Uihlein is the large lake that Waterfront on Main Street is located on in Lakewood Ranch. It was named for the family that owned Schroeder-Manatee Ranch.

After January's Super Blood Moon, stargazers are getting ready for yet another stunning sight tonight as a Super Snow Moon or Hunger Moon will grace the skies. February's full moon is going to be the biggest Super Moon of the year. Super Moon is a term used with a full moon that occurs when the Moon is at or near its closest approach to Earth.  On February 19, the Moon will be just 356,846 km away from the Earth, in contrast, this year's farthest full moon on September 14, 2019 will be at 406,248 km away from our planet. This February full moon is particularly noteworthy after a Black Moon in February last year.
